How do I create a custom print file for my cardboard inlay?
Step 1:
Open the downloaded cutting outline in a graphics programme. We recommend using Adobe Illustrator, for example.
Step 2:
Take the measurements and outline of your product(s) and draw the individual contour into the PDF die-cut contour you received.
Step 3:
Create your individual die cut contour in a spot colour (e.g. C=0 M=100 Y=50 K=0) and set it to overprint.
The spot colours should be named as follows:
- ‘Punch’ (magenta)
- ‘Groove’ (green)
